Stuck at an iptv adult password box? This guide explains why players lock the 18+ group, which codes apps usually start with (0000, 1234 or one set by your provider), where parental control sits in each popular app, and how to change or reset the PIN.

You open the channel list, scroll to the bottom, tap the adult group, and a box appears asking for an iptv adult code. Nothing is broken. Almost every IPTV player treats 18+ categories as protected content, and the iptv adult password is the gate.
There are two places that lock can come from. The first is the provider: the panel that serves your channels marks certain categories as adult, and many apps read that flag and lock those groups automatically. The second is the app itself: its parental control feature lets you choose a code and decide which groups it protects. Sometimes both apply, which is why people end up with two different codes and a lot of confusion.
The fix is to work out which lock you are looking at, then use the right iptv adult code for it. This page walks through the common defaults, the settings in each popular app, how to change or reset the PIN, and what it means when there is no adult group at all.
Your code is issued with the account and swapped on request, so you never depend on an app default.

Pay once. Dedicated server, VIP section, four screens.

What most people run into. These are common starting points, not guarantees: branded builds and provider portals often set their own code, and menu names vary slightly by app version. With IPTV+18, your iptv adult pin is the one in your welcome email.
| App | Where the lock lives | Usual starting code | Can you hide the group? |
|---|---|---|---|
| IPTV Smarters Pro | Settings → Parental control | None: you create a password the first time; some branded builds ship with a provider-set code | Yes, lock per category |
| TiviMate | Settings → Parental control (under General on many versions) | None until you set a PIN | Yes, lock or hide groups |
| XCIPTV | Settings → Parental control | Often 0000 or provider-set on branded versions | Yes, per category |
| IBO Player | Settings → Parental control | 0000 is the most commonly reported default | Yes, per category |
| GSE Smart IPTV | Settings → Parental control / lock | Set by you on first use | Yes, per group |
| MAG box (portal) | Portal settings → Parental control | Often 0000, sometimes 1234, or set by the provider | Depends on the portal |
| VLC | No parental lock | Not applicable | No, groups show openly |
Almost every question we get about the iptv adult password comes down to mixing up these three codes.
When an iptv adult code is refused, ask yourself which box you are looking at. A box that appeared the moment you opened the adult group usually wants the provider PIN. A box inside the app’s settings menu wants the app’s own code.

The general routine. It works in most players; the exact wording of menus differs from app to app.
Add the account, then leave the app alone until every category has finished populating; the 18+ ones come last.
Select the 18+ category. If a box asks for a code, enter the iptv adult pin from your IPTV+18 welcome email.
Go to the app’s settings, open Parental control, enter the app’s code, and switch hidden or locked categories back on.
While you are in parental control, choose a code you will remember. Write it down somewhere private.
Tick the adult categories for live TV, films and series. Some apps handle each tab separately.
Leave the group, come back, and confirm the iptv adult password box appears. If it does not, the lock is not active yet.
Still stuck? Photograph the prompt and message it over. The exact wording of the box reveals which code it expects.
Open Settings and look for Parental control. The first time, the app asks you to create an iptv adult password of your own. After that you can pick categories to lock on the Live, Movies and Series tabs. Some branded versions of Smarters come preconfigured by the provider and may already have a code; if so, it would be in that provider’s email, not a universal default.
Parental control sits in Settings, often under General. Set your iptv adult pin there first. Then go back to the channel list, highlight a group, open its options with a long press, and lock or hide it. Hiding is stricter: the group disappears from the list until you unlock it with the PIN.
XCIPTV has a parental control section in its settings. Branded versions handed out by providers sometimes start with 0000 or a code from the provider. Once inside, you can set a new iptv adult code and choose which categories it protects.
IBO Player keeps parental control in its settings. The most commonly reported default is 0000. If that is refused, check whether your provider set a code, then reset from the settings once you are in.
On a MAG box the iptv adult code lives in the portal settings and can be set by the provider. 0000 is common, sometimes 1234. If neither works, ask the provider; for IPTV+18 customers we tell you on WhatsApp.
VLC is a media player, not an IPTV app. It has no iptv adult password feature, so an M3U link opened in VLC shows every group, adult included. Fine for a quick test on a private computer, not for a shared TV.

Your IPTV+18 PIN. This one we control, so replacing it is easy: a short request from your ordering number, and a new code lands in your registered inbox.
An app code you set and forgot. We cannot see an iptv adult password stored inside your app. The usual way out is to clear the app’s data, which resets parental control along with everything else. On Android TV and Firestick that is in the system settings under Applications, then the app, then Clear data. The app then forgets your login too, so keep your welcome email handy to sign in again.
A TV or box code. Smart TV parental locks and MAG portal codes have their own reset routines, usually in the device’s settings or via the manufacturer’s support pages. Check the device manual before resetting a whole TV.
A good habit: write your codes down somewhere private, not on a sticky note next to the TV, and change the iptv adult pin if you think someone else has seen it.
Sometimes the problem is not the iptv adult password at all, because there is nothing to unlock.
If your current provider simply has no adult section, that is the moment to look at the IPTV+18 plans. Every plan includes a locked 18+ section and your own PIN.
The device changes where the iptv adult pin is entered, not how it works.
A simple test tells you which layer you are dealing with: if the code box appears before the IPTV app’s own screen, it is the device; if it appears when you open the adult group, it is the app or the provider.
An iptv adult pin only protects you if it is not obvious. Avoid 0000, 1234 and birthdays. Four random digits you can remember are better. If several people share the TV, hide the adult groups rather than just locking them, because a locked group can still show its name in the list.
Remember the catalogue side. Locking live TV but leaving the on-demand shelves open is the most common gap we see. And check after app updates: some updates reset parental settings.
